Frustrated with what little information there is online about lunches and lunch-spots in central Brussels, we decided to create our own resource. One lunch per day, photographed and described by Koen and Noah.

Waterzooi de Poulet at Le Pain de France
A traditional Belgian dish in a very unassuming little cafe that was surprisingly good! This was not as creamy and rich as I’ve had before and that wasn’t a bad thing. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were nicely cut “aux chateaux”. At the end I even made a pig of myself and drank the remains from the bowl. The service could have been a bit faster, but on slow days I’ll definitely eat here again.
